Take a Chance on Me
You many not know that I have a bachelor’s degree in teaching English and PE. I still consider what I do as teaching, just without the formal classroom setting! I’ve always loved learning, explaining, leading and demonstrating technique. I did that for many, many years with exercise and personal training. But I’m more excited about what I’m doing now because it’s exponentially more effective than having a 1:1 training session or group fitness class; learning to heal your body can be done everywhere by everyone.
This means you don’t have to even know me personally to get what you want. You don’t have to be near me or have a schedule that works with mine. You can learn to feel great by changing your daily routines (without eliminating ALL the fun), and experience living a sustainable AND enjoyable lifestyle that doesn’t make you sick.
What I can teach you is how to understand what’s happening in your body without making it a science class. I can explain why what you’ve done in the past doesn’t work (as well) anymore. I can give you easy-to-do homework that proves you can win in your body; you will feel better fast.
One of the ways I’m going to do this is by offering an online class to explain some of the things I’ve learned very recently and why you will want to learn them, too!
I’d love to help all the people who need it (who doesn’t need help feeling great?!?!). The hard reality is that you won’t learn from me unless you trust that what I’m saying is true for you. Just because I can show you lots of examples of how it’s worked for other people, there’s still may be a little doubt in your mind because we know how many things we’ve tried before, especially when it comes to our daily habits around food and fitness.
Trusting me and the process takes some faith in the new information I share and a strong desire to improve yourself. It means getting back out there and trying again, even when you’ve been trying for a long time. It means doing some things differently that are maybe new and uncomfortable, but very certainly doable. It also requires you to trust yourself and me; you trust you can do it and that I’m not going to waste your time and money.
The great thing about the internet is that you can learn a lot of things for free. But when things are free, we know that either they aren’t valuable or that there are hidden strings attached that rope us into a commitment we don’t want.
I recently clicked on a marketing book that I’ve been looking at for a while. It was very inexpensive but I liked the previews I had read and wanted to learn more. Unfortunately, once I bought it, I was hit with a barrage of followup “bonus” material I could buy for lots more money (but at a significant discount, just for me😝) as well as emails and text messages asking me to schedule a call and follow up. It reminded me of how much I hate getting tricked by smooth marketers. I really just wanted to buy the book and be left alone.
Online shopping isn’t always secure or truthful, but it does give us easy access, and we value that A LOT.
Maybe you feel like you’ve fallen for way too many weight loss programs and nothing ever really works. That has been the normal experience for most of us. Every January or May or September, we gear ourselves up to change. Then we’re disappointed and mad and vow never to trust anything again. We settle for feeling uncomfortable and decide that aging is what it is and every mature woman gets either fluffy or surgically fixed. And then in a moment of weakness, get swept up in our emotion, hoping the this next time will actually be different.
That experience is why I’m teaching this class. I’d like the chance to show you how real I am and how my intentions are good for you, (and not just for building an online business! 😍). I also want to give you some real ways your can start changing your habits immediately and start to build the trust in yourself and your future.
I am offering to educate you because I’m a teacher. But what I have to offer as a coach is a lot more effective than just giving you information. It would be a tremendous disservice to you if I didn’t also make myself available as your coach to carry out the information I share. And that’s not because your incapable of doing things well on your own. It’s that it’s easier, faster and way more enjoyable if I help you. This is what you’ve been looking for. You can do it and you can be successful at it for the rest of your life.
Some of the topics that have come up as discussion points include the following:
Menopause and fasting — is it different?
Does fasting and fitness help with hormonal changes as we age (like weight distribution, night sweats, hot flashes, foggy brain, achy joints, mood swings)?
Why would fasting work when dieting won’t?
How do I feel well when I’m fasting (because I don’t like hunger!)
What about exercising and fasting together?
What kind of exercise is “best” for me now?
What would you add? What questions keep running through your mind about your fitness level, your longevity, your hope for a healthy future? Are there questions about food and fitness (and fasting) that you don’t know where to go to find the answers?
If so, please reach out! I’d love to do my best to cover your topics, too. Days, dates and times will be coming out shortly (and if you have some restrictions on WHEN you can listen in, let me know that, too!) Hop onto this link and give me your comments.
See you soon!
