Make Formula3 Your Fall Resolution

We’re 12 weeks away from the holiday season and although I’m not one to rush out of or into seasons, it’s occurred to me that between now and December, we have a window of opportunity.

Typically, we throw in the transformation towel long before September rolls around because we’ve either not stuck to or maybe even started to reach our fitness goal. As you are well aware, January - March is the typical weight loss season, but I’m thinking this is your time to go from tired, uncomfortable and frustrated to energetic, interested and content.

So why now?

Who doesn’t love the changing from summer to fall as a signal that it’s time to look inward. It’s time to reset. It’s time to plan for the last quarter of the year and maybe (hopefully) for the rest of your life.

Why not make these next 12 weeks count for something amazing? Here’s what a few of my clients have been able to experience over the summer:

  • 22# weight loss + 2 clothing size smaller

  • happy to see my reflection in the mirror

  • 22# weight loss after 25 years of high, stable weight

  • 27# weight loss post menopausal

  • freedom from decision fatigue around meals and enjoyment of cooking

  • relaxed morning schedule and easy work-around social life

  • 20# weight loss without perfection

  • feeling good about myself again

  • no stress about what to take for lunch

  • 22# weight loss with less exercise

  • feeling so much better

  • learning about myself besides weight loss

  • “I don’t quit on myself anymore”

The good news is that you can start Formula3 anytime it works in your schedule because it always works in your schedule. It’s flexible and accommodating, but it’s not magic. The transformation happens inside you before you see it on the outside (just like nature!). And you’ll definitely run into some old thoughts and habits that you can decide to keep or throw away. But that is all part of the process. And you’re a worthwhile project to invest in.

Your body becomes a chemistry experiment as you learn that meal timing can improve meal quality. Your hunger signals become easy to interpret and understand instead of feeling like a fire you have to put out.

You learn how breakfast doesn’t have to be the most important meal of the day because nourishing your body sometimes means letting your body rest from constant digestion.

You’ll use simple strategies that free up your frustration from trying to eat fewer calories with processed foods or burn off more calories with long workouts. And maybe most importantly, you’ll enjoy learning how you can live with a new rhythm around food without fear.

Learning something new takes a commitment on your part and once you make that choice, the rest is just execution of the formula!

Give this some thought for the next couple of days and then, let’s get to work. The season of change is upon us.
